Catherine Lounge Chair

Catherine is a lounge chair that blends contemporary forms with classic craftsmanship, capturing the essence of a European club chair. The rounded interior not only suggests comfort but is extremely comfortable.
Constructed of solid maple, the carved legs are delicate, visual extensions of the lounge chair’s clean lines and are connected by an elegantly flared diamond joint.
Catherine was designed by the multidisciplinary French designer, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, known internationally for his sensitive attention to materials and details, as well as for the refinement of his organic forms. From his initial training as a sculptor, he has kept this innate aptitude for dialogue between space and object. Bernhardt Design’s ongoing partnership with Noé spans over a decade and has resulted in many of our most well-known pieces.
